The histoscore of the proliferative marker, Ki67, was higher in the TB group than in the AOM/DSS group (p < 0.01) (Figure 2C,I), whereas the histoscore of the apoptotic marker, cleaved-caspase 3 (c-casp3), was significantly improved (p < 0.05) (Figure 2D,J), indicating the ability of TB to promote the shift from proliferation to apoptosis in colorectal tumor tissue. This evidence concerns the gene CASP3 and colorectal neoplasm.
