ERBB2 and breast cancer: Since the HER2 amplicon frequently contains two GSDM genes (GSDMA and GSDMB), rather than inhibiting GSDMA–B expression, activating their pyroptotic activity via therapeutic intervention (either with GSDM-targeted nanotherapies, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy) could be a promising approach for future treatment of HER2 BC resistant to standard therapies (revised in [191]).
