Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) is one of the most frequently mutated oncogenes in human pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC); oncogenic KRAS mutations can be detected in approximately 92% of the PDAC genomes [1,2,3,4,5,6]. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
