These findings suggest that ICIs evoke more robust and rapid responses in earlier stages of CRC than observed in the metastatic setting, where a cCR is observed in 13% and 24% of dMMR/MSI-H patients treated with the anti-PD1 pembrolizumab or nivolumab plus the anti-CTLA4 ipilimumab, respectively, and the maximum tumor shrinkage is achieved after months rather than weeks [27,28,29]. Here, CTLA4 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
