MARCKS and inflammatory breast carcinoma: Using the same cut-off as previously defined (≥1%) [7], 28% of IBC samples vs. 13% of nIBC samples were defined as MARCKS-positive: this difference was significant (p = 3.17 × 10−5), even after adjustment upon the molecular subtypes (p = 2.20 × 10−3, Figure 3A) and upon all clinicopathological variables (Figure S4).
