Among the patients with IBC, the “MARCKS-negative/PTEN-positive” group displayed 73% 5-year MFS (95 CI 58–93) whereas the remaining group including all other patients (MARCKS-negative/PTEN-negative, MARCKS-positive/PTEN-positive, and MARCKS-positive/PTEN-negative) thereafter named “no MARCKS-negative/PTEN-positive” group, displayed 33% 5-year MFS (95 CI 15–72; p = 8.70 × 10−1; Figure 3G, Table S4). This evidence concerns the gene MARCKS and inflammatory breast carcinoma.
