Analysis of binding motifs enriched at differential H3K27ac and H3.3-HA regions revealed predominantly AP-1/AP1-related and Ets/Ets-like motifs (Fig. 4H and Supplementary Fig. 8A–F) suggesting a role for AP1-related and Ets-like TFs, which are known to control bone homoeostasis and bone tumour development [22, 31].
