Although the influence of intravitreal anti-VEGF treatment on the development of chorioretinal atrophy is still elusive, it seems that the application of anti-VEGF treatment has decreased the incidence of chorioretinal atrophy associated with mCNV compared to untreated natural course, varying from 30% to 73% in recent studies [20–23]. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and Chorioretinal atrophy.
