The anticancer mechanisms of AITC in human A549 and H1299 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells were reported to be due to S and G2/M cell cycle arrest, γH2AX, FANCD2 foci, and ATM/ATR-mediated checkpoint responses that induced replication stress in NSCLS cells. This evidence concerns the gene ATR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
