Taken together, the combination of Curcuma zedoary and kelp could inhibit the proliferation and metastasis of liver cancer cells in vivo and in vitro by inhibiting endogenous H2S production and downregulating the pSTAT3/BCL-2 and VEGF pathway, which provides strong evidence for the application of Curcuma zedoary and kelp in the treatments of liver cancer [21]. The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is liver cancer.
