In RPPA data from GBM, the level of activating phosphorylation of threonine 172 on PRKAA1 (AMPKA1_PT172) (Stein et al., 2000) is significantly higher in pEGFR-high tumors than pEGFR-low tumors, further supporting that EGFR signaling and AMPK signaling are associated in GBM in vivo (Figure S4C). This evidence concerns the gene PRKAB1 and glioblastoma.
