This case was about an 82-year-old patient who presented with gastrointestinal bleeding. Upon further workup, he was found to have aortic stenosis and low Von Willebrand factor levels. He underwent transaortic valvular replacement and, at the 12-month follow-up, was found to have no further incidences of gastrointestinal bleeding. Here, VWF is linked to aortic stenosis.
