Current studies suggest that upregulation of STMN1 can accelerate the formation and/or progression of hepatocellular carcinoma by activating the YAP1 signaling pathway, and overexpression of STMN1 may be a precursor of hepatocellular carcinoma and can be used as a marker for diagnosis and treatment [20]. This evidence concerns the gene STMN1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
