Additionally, a number of allosteric AKT inhibitors have also entered clinical trials (e.g. MK-2206 (Phase 2, multiple cancer indications), ARQ-092 (miransertib, Phase 2, CLOVES syndrome), and TAS-117 (Phase 2, PTEN mutant cancers)) with MK-2206 being the most clinically advanced allosteric AKT inhibitor15–19.
