CRP and Parkinson disease: Compared to patients of the low tertile of albumin levels, Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) of patients of middle tertile increased 2.09 [95% confidence interval (CI) (0.45, 3.73), P = .013], independent of age, sex, PD duration, modified Hoehn-Yahr (mHY) stage, C-reactive protein (CRP) level, and use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
