KRAS and cancer: Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homologue (KRAS; OMIM: 114500) is the best-known oncogene with the highest rate of sequence variation among all cancers and has exhibited a role in revolutionizing cancer treatment strategies.9,10,11 Previous studies have highlighted the benefits of anatomical resections in liver and lung mastectomy of CRC with KRAS sequence variation.12,13 However, the association of integrating KRAS data with the benefit of simultaneous vs delayed resection of liver metastases is largely unknown.
