The blood IGF-1 concentrations of adults with OSAHS were studied in 19 investigations, and the combined results revealed that serum IGF-1 concentrations in adults with OSAHS were considerably lower than those of participants without OSAHS (SMD=-1.66, 95%CI= -2.21–1.12, P 0.001, Table 4). Here, IGF1 is linked to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
