PKM and diabetic kidney disease: In our study, we explored the transcriptomic changes and mechanisms in response to PKM2 activator TEPP-46 in the hyperglycemic human renal proximal epithelial tubular cell line (HK-2 cells) in vitro to reveal the pathophysiological networks involved in the glycolytic reprogramming of hyperglycemic PTECs and thus to update and reshape the prevention strategy for DKD.
