None of the exposures (LDL-C, triglycerides, and ApoB) were significantly associated with PD risk in the standard MR analyses, but there was a suggestive protective effect for PD risk by the lowering of triglycerides and ApoB by ApoA5 and/or ApoC3 modulation in the cis-MR models. This evidence concerns the gene APOB and Parkinson disease.
