Notably, there are several reported molecular targets for BBR in other cancers such as receptor retinoid X receptor alpha (RXRα) (71), protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) (122), TNF receptor–associated factor 6 (TRAF6) (123), and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), and these proteins also play important roles in BC; further studies are necessary to investigate the roles of these targets in BBR-mediated anti-BC effects. The gene discussed is PTPN1; the disease is cancer.
