CRP and respiratory failure: In the COVID-19 patients, severe respiratory failure with a worse oxygenation index was evident (87.5 vs. 143.5); however, the dysfunction of other organs was already expressed to a much lesser extent than in those patients with bacterial sepsis (e.g., creatinine 82 vs. 169 μmol/L; leukocytosis 10.7 vs. 14.6 × 109/L; CRP 151.1 vs. 237.5 mg/L).
