ADA and metabolic syndrome: The second study (Martins, Bagatini, Cardoso, Zanini, Abdalla, Baldissarelli, Dalenogare, dos Santos, et al., 2016) showed that, in the pre‐training condition, lymphocytes of metabolic syndrome patients demonstrated an increase in ATP, ADP hydrolysis (p < 0.001), and a decrease in ADA activity (p < 0.001), compared to the control group.
