In the present study, our results showed that the expression levels of MPZ, SCARA3, MPP2 and PBXIP1 were high in CRC tissues, and the inhibition of MPZ, SCARA3, MPP2 and PBXIP1 expression could inhibit the colony formation ability of SW620 cells in vitro and tumorigenicity in vivo, while overexpression of MPZ, SCARA3, MPP2 and PBXIP1 promoted the colony formation ability of SW480 cells in vitro and tumorigenicity in vivo. The gene discussed is MPP2; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
