KDM5A and breast carcinoma: Partly in line with our results, the cyclopenta[c]chromen derivative 1 (an identified antagonist of KDM5A) is capable of inducing production of p16 and p27 via blockage of KDM5A-mediated H3K4me3 demethylation, resulting in cell cycle arrest and senescence in breast cancer (Yang et al. 2019).
