Based on DGE and GO term enrichment analysis, we then identified CHRM5, encoding the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M5, to be substantially downregulated in spinal cord white matter MS oligodendrocytes (Fig. 5a, e–g), whereas myelin-associated transcripts like MAG and MBP appeared to be upregulated in MS. This evidence concerns the gene CHRM5 and myeloid sarcoma.
