Numerous APAs have been identified, but only a few are part of the diagnostic criteria for APS. The antibodies which are part of the clinical criteria for APS include lupus anticoagulant (LA), anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) and anti-beta 2-glycoprotein I antibodies (aβ2GPI).
