RUVBL1 and neoplasm: In mammalian cells, overexpression of the RVB1/2 homologs, RUVBL1/2, is correlated with tumor growth and poor prognosis in several cancer types, yet precise mechanisms for how these proteins impact cancer progression are unclear (Grigoletto et al., 2011; Lauscher et al., 2012; Lin et al., 2020).
