CSF2 and neoplasm: As reported by existing studies, tumor-derived cytokines (granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF)) subsequently can induce the expression of lipid transporters via the STAT3 and STAT5 signaling pathways, thus increasing the uptake of high concentrations of lipids in the tumor microenvironment.
