Clinical features like dyspnea and laboratory parameters like lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia, leukocytosis, elevated procalcitonin, D-dimer, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), C-reactive protein (CRP), and lower levels of albumin have also been shown to be associated with increased severity and mortality [4,5].
