Following RBM8A silencing, the protein levels of p-AKT and p-mTOR were significantly declined in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells (P < 0.01, Figures 5(a)–5(b)), indicating that RBM8A silencing may inactivate the AKT/mTOR pathway in BC cells. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and breast cancer.
