MTOR and colorectal carcinoma: Finally, we verified the putative signalling pathway in KEGG results and found that knockdown of KCNJ14 remarkably inhibited the phosphorylation of AKT and mTOR in SW480 (Fig. 4c) and HCT116 (Fig. 4d) cell lines, thus blocking the mTOR signalling pathway, which greatly affected many biological activities of CRC cells, such as proliferation and migration.
