Among all the significant deleterious variants found in the discovery (S3 Table) and validation cohorts (S4 Table), 12 non-DDR novel potential predisposition genes (ADGRG1, CHD4, DNMT3A, ERBB3, GRHL1, HMBS, LDLR, MYH7, MYO6, NT5C2, NUP98 and SUGCT) were identified (S3 and S4 Tables), which could be considered as part of the multigene panel for prostate cancer patients, especially Chinese patients. This evidence concerns the gene NT5C2 and prostate carcinoma.
