CD8A and neoplasm: RNF43 was identified as a tumor-associated antigen that can lead to tumor-reactive cytotoxic T-cell responses (Uchida et al., 2004), and a VHL mutation was associated with outcomes and promoted increased NK cell infiltration (Perier et al., 2011), explaining the increased number of CD8+ T cells and NK cells in patients with low SIGP scores in this study.
