Knocking down BNIP3 with transfection reagent, then we extracted proteins and detected GSDMD and caspase-8 by western blot, and the results showed that knocking down BNIP3 increased GSDMD and caspase-8, indicating that knocking down BNIP3 could induce pyroptosis in lung cancer cells H358 (Figure 9(d)). The gene discussed is CASP8; the disease is lung carcinoma.
