The results demonstrated that high expression of IL-6R without chemotherapy, high tumor staging, and intrahepatic site were significantly correlated with a shorter overall survival rate compared with those individuals with a low expression with chemotherapy, low tumor staging and extrahepatic site (p = 0.002, p = 0.034 and p = 0.010, respectively) (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene IL6R and neoplasm.
