The anti-PD-1 antibodies nivolumab and pembrolizumab and the anti-PD-L1 antibodies atezolizumab, durvalumab, and avelumab (not indicated for NSCLC) are available worldwide, and pharmaceutical companies are developing more anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies with the aim of obtaining additional indications for diseases for which anti-PD-(L)1 antibodies are not available or as combined immunotherapies with compounds that they are developing. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
