Based on the analysis of the Oncomine database, we found that the CDK1 gene expression was higher in a variety of malignancies than in normal tissues (Figure 1(a)): these malignancies included bladder cancer, brain and CNS cancers, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, head and neck cancer, lymphoma, liver cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, and sarcoma. This evidence concerns the gene CDK1 and esophageal cancer.
