As shown in Fig. 12, B–D, intravenous injection of Hc-CATH at 2 h after ZIKV infection significantly attenuated ZIKV replication in C57BL/6J mice (Fig. 12B), Ifnar1−/− mice (Fig. 12C), fetal placenta, and fetal mice (Fig. 12D), suggesting that intravenous injection of Hc-CATH at 2 h after ZIKV challenge provides therapeutic efficacy against ZIKV infection in mice. This evidence concerns the gene IFNAR1 and Zika virus infectious disease.
