KDR and cervical cancer: Bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody against VEGF, has been used to treat patients with advanced cervical cancer in recent years.[11] It inhibits biological activity by competitively binding with VEGF, inhibited endothelial cell proliferation and neovascularization, promoted vascular normalization, increased the intratumor infiltration through VEGF/VEGFR2 pathway, so as to achieve antitumor effect.
