Low albumin (3.5 ± 0.6 g/dL) and high fecal calprotectin (FC) (334.7 ± 167.2 μg/g) were observed in the presence of sarcopenia compared to 3.88 ± 0.5 (p = 0.029) and 238.95 ± 138.7 (p = 0.03) in patients without sarcopenia, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and sarcopenia.
