In contrast, a much lower percentage of cyclin E1 positive cells and a distinctly higher percentage of cyclin A2 positive cells in MCF-7 breast cancer cells after incubation with EDA-71 compared with cisplatin were observed (Figure 14 and Figure 15), indicating that EDA-71 and cisplatin arrest the population of these cells in the G2/M and S phase, respectively.
