When applying ROC analysis for the diagnostic detection of PCa in patients with PI-RADS v2 score-3 lesions, PHI and PSAD yielded a significantly higher AUC of 0.807 (95% CI: 0.710–0.906) and 0.712 (95% CI: 0.611–0.813) for overall PCa compared with PSA (p = 0.001 and p = 0.016) (Table 2 and Figure 3A). This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and posterior cortical atrophy.
