From the TCGA-LGG RNAseq and clinical data, we performed a supervised analysis of the potential correlation between key steroid biosynthesis enzyme (CYP19A1 encoding aromatase) or receptor (AR, ESR1, ESR2, GPER1, PGR) expression and grade 3 patient survival, depending on the glioma type and patient gender (Figure 3, Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene GPER1 and central nervous system cancer.
