The PSGs and QEGs in the L. sacra genome were enriched in pathways activated during the cellular response to hypoxia (e.g., PI3K-Akt signaling pathway and extracellular matrix (ECM)-receptor interactions) and were also involved in DNA repair (e.g., Fanconi anemia pathway and base excision repair) (Figure 4B,C; Tables S10–S13) [20,21,22,23]. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and Fanconi anemia.
