What is more, Panda et al. found that in glioblastoma multiforme, CD8A expression was correlated with LAG-3 expression (but not with PD-L1 expression), whereas in low-grade glioma it was correlated with PD-L1 expression (but not with LAG-3 expression), suggesting that the combined blockade of LAG-3 and PD-1 may be appropriate for brain tumors with CD8+ T cell infiltration [42].
