However, in our present study, we found that ADAR1 directly interacts with METTL3 mRNA, as evidenced by RIP using ADAR1 antibody, and that ADAR1 edits the nearby stop codon of METTL3 mRNA and changes its miR-532-5p binding site, leading to increased METTL3 mRNA and protein levels in breast cancer cells. Here, METTL3 is linked to breast carcinoma.
