For instance, new therapeutic strategies target the RBPs themselves in hematological malignancies, such as the use of XPO1 inhibitors for both myeloma (e.g., STORM clinical trial, ID: NCT02336815) and lymphoma (ID: NCT05422066) [163], MSI2 inhibitors for AML (ID: NCT01546038) [138], or SRSF2 inhibitors for MDS [164]; but also the inhibition of their interaction and/or downregulation of their targets comprise a new therapeutic horizon, such as the targeting of HNRNPK and c-MYC [22].
