LRP1B and cervical carcinoma: Based on the whole-genome sequencing and high-throughput viral integration detection of HPV integration in cervical cancer, Hu et al. [32] pointed out that LRP1B was identified as an HPV integration hotspot in cervical cancer, and the downregulated expression of LRP1B protein was found when HPV integrated in LRP1B introns, which potentially become a novel biomarker for early screening, diagnosis and personalized therapy of HPV integration-driven cervical cancer.
