TRPV2 and myocardial ischemia: isolated cardiomyocytes from neonatal rats were isolated by Li et al. [39] to explore role of dysregulated miRNAs in the initiation and progression of myocardial ischemia–reperfusion (MI/R) in a calcium-dependent manner; they found that downregulation of miR-202-5p led to Trpv2 upregulation inhibiting Ca2+ overload in cardiomyocytes.
