A few genetic variants (rs998584 for adiponectin, rs780093 for leptin, rs3087852 for resistin, rs4655537 for sOB-R, and rs11128603 for PAI-1) were associated with other phenotypes at the threshold of genome-wide significance (p < 5 × 10–8), including different white blood cells, BMI, lipid levels, coronary artery disease, and age at menopause (Supplementary Table S4). This evidence concerns the gene RETN and coronary artery disorder.
