MED28 and colorectal cancer: We identified a role of MED28 in cell growth and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in these human colorectal cancer cells, where the effect of MED28 knockdown mimicked that of calcitriol, partially by upregulating E-cadherin as well as attenuating Wnt/β-catenin signaling and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (Figure 4(b)).
